Welcome to the music site of Murray Webster. Here you will find information on his latest recordings, as well as some random and miscellaneous bits from the various projects that he has been involved with. Murray started playing guitar at the age of 11, at first developing an interest in the blues players of the day, but then became lost in the world of the prog rock gods of the 70’s. His first notable band was the blues-rock band “Silver Zipper” whose first single was entitled “Love to You”, based on the Willie Dixon song. He played guitar, keyboards, and saxophone with other Montreal-area bands including “Contraband” and “Nightshift. Now, in Ottawa he has focused mostly on recording, as presented here.
